Entarian is looking for an Engineering Technician III who will be supporting engineering, technical and programmatic support services to Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) in support of Commander Navy Installations Command (CNIC) to help the Navy shore commands with their mission to enable and enhance the combat power by providing the most effective, efficient and cost-wise shore services and support.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Assisting in the installation, configuration, and testing of CCTV cameras, access control panels, and intrusion detection sensors/equipment.
• Performing routine maintenance tasks and the ability to troubleshoot basic and more complex system issues.
• Working both under supervision and in self-guided environments, demonstrating the ability to handle responsibilities independently.
• Representing a significant advancement within the Electronic Security Systems (ESS) team, with a focus on leading installation projects, conducting system integration, and providing mentorship to junior technicians.
• Leading the installation and configuration of CCTV, access control, and intrusion detection systems independently, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Taking ownership of project tasks and coordinate with team members to allocate resources effectively and overcome any challenges encountered during project execution.
• Conducting system integration activities to ensure compatibility between different components of ESS, such as cameras, control panels, and sensors.
• Verifying proper functionality and interoperability of integrated systems, troubleshooting and resolving any issues.
• Staying updated on the latest technologies and industry trends related to ESS, applying new knowledge to enhance project outcomes and drive innovation.
• Leading small installation teams, delegating tasks and providing direction to ensure that project objectives are met efficiently and effectively.
• Collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders to facilitate communication and coordination, fostering a collaborative work environment that promotes synergy and teamwork.
• Upholding the organization's commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship, paying close attention to detail and ensuring adherence to industry standards and best practices.
• Conducting thorough quality assurance checks on installed systems, verifying compliance with regulatory requirements and client specifications.

• Active US TS/SCI level clearance

• Lenel OnGuard Associate level certification (or higher) for a minimum of three (3) years
• Minimum 3 years of experience in ESS
• Experience with troubleshooting and diagnosing system issues
• Familiarity with various manufacturers' equipment and software
• Ability to red-line, read, and interpret architectural blueprints and schematics; Mark-ups of Installation Design Plans (IDP) and works with design engineers to complete as-built drawings
• Experience with consistently delivering high-quality workmanship, adhering to industry standards
• Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and making/repairing connectors
• Experience installing, programing and documenting ACS/IDS/CCTV equipment, cable conveyance, antennas and supporting systems
• Communication/ Low Voltage Equipment rack and supporting system peripheral installations experience
• Experience with installation of overhead or under-floor infrastructure (Conduit, EMT, Schedule 40) and low voltage cabling and cabling for interconnecting various ESS equipment/systems
• Use of lifts, ladders, basic hand tools and appropriate safety equipment during installations
• Expertise analyzing technical data to determine applicability to design or installation problems; selects from several possible design layouts; calculates design data; and prepares layouts, detailed specifications, parts lists, estimates, procedures, etc.
• Skilled in conducting tests using all types of instruments; analyzes and evaluates test results; and prepares reports on findings and recommendations
• Ability to perform checks and analysis of systems or equipment to determine adequacy of design drawings/criteria. Plans or assists in planning PITCO and SOVT tests, to evaluate equipment performance
• Ability to lead small installation teams and mentor/guide junior technicians to maintain quality standards
• Valid Driver’s License and ability to obtain a Passport

Travel: up to 50% to CONUS and OCONUS locations as requested by the customer.

• Tower Climbing experience/certification.
• Forklift/ Boom operator experience/certification.
• Fiber Optic Certification(s).
• Experienced with Navy Shore Platform Installation Handbook.
• Knowledge of Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) physical security system Access Control Enforcer (ACE) and its integration with ACS.
• Manufacturer certifications if required. (Avigilon, Axis, DMP, etc.)
