Entarian is seeking a Pacific Northwest Habitat Restoration Specialist to provide technical, programmatic, data management, environmental compliance, outreach, and restoration planning support for the NOAA Office of Habitat Conservation, Restoration Center. This position will support habitat restoration projects and related NOAA programs and initiatives in the Pacific Northwest, with a near-term emphasis on the Community Based Restoration Program (CRP) and additional support to Damage Assessment, Remediation, and Restoration Program (DARRP) cases. The position requires periodic on-site meetings in Portland, OR, and regional site visits and meetings with partners throughout Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, with regular off-site work acceptable. The contractor may be required to travel for meetings, workshops, trainings, and conferences.
Duties include:
Support fishery habitat restoration planning and implementation, including the evaluation, identification, prioritization, design, implementation, and monitoring of restoration projects, with particular emphasis on salmon and steelhead habitat and other biological resources in the Pacific Northwest.
The salary for this position is approximately $69,000 - 89,000/year.
Periodic on-site meetings in the Portland, OR office and regional site visits and meetings with partners throughout the Pacific Northwest (Oregon, Washington, and Idaho) are required, with regular off-site work acceptable. The contractor may be required to travel for meetings, workshops, trainings, and conferences.
